Freeza Chin

Freeza ChinSaturdays 12-2am

Freeza Chin started as a lover's rock/dancehall DJ in the late 90's, so it's no surprise that everything that he plays today is heavily ragga-influenced. Besides being a DJ, he is a well seasoned emcee. Being one third of the UKC crew, along with partners Plain English and Alki Riddimz, he has played a key part in laying the foundation of Toronto's (and arguably Canada's) thriving dubstep and grime scene. As one of the hardest working performers in country, he has shared the stage with the likes of Logan Sama, Joe Nice, D1, MRK1, Juakali, XI, Marcus Visionary, Benny Page, DZ, Sharmaji, Harry Shotta and many more.

Her new home in Nottingham where now studying at uni, brought on the challenge of holding down regular club residencies, a weekly radio show on the underground station RogueFM, as well as a host of other exciting nights she has been involved with. Most recently Liana's supported Fantastic Mr Fox and shared the bill with Jackmaster, Joy Orbison and Jamie xx to name but a few. Primarily Liana would now call herself a funky and garage dj although she doesn’t like to confine herself to genres or musical styles. With an clear passion for music, if it gets her going she’ll play it.
